Bettina in Niblo's Garden

As soon as I found out I'd be performing in the historic Brooklyn Green-Wood Cemetery, I knew I wanted my favourite event photographer Jane Kratochvil to come and shoot it. I'm so happy she came and took these beautiful photos of me dancing with our ad hoc faerie dance troupe, the Pushing Daisies (get it?!), as part of Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, in spite of the crazy torrential downpour that threatened to cancel the event earlier in the day. It turned out to be a lovely, magical day, and hopefully this photo series will give you a little taste of the annual event, which is a tribute to William Niblo's nineteenth century parties that he held here in front of his mausoleum.
