After 8 glorious years in fabulous Las Vegas, I've decided it's time for a change! I've tried the East coast, and then the Southwest, enjoying them both immensely, and now it's time to head back to where it all started in the Pacific Northwest. Some of you may know that I started performing in Victoria, BC, and while I've never lived in Seattle, it is one of the first places I started touring down to when I first started back in 2003. In a way, it's always felt like home. This summer I toured all over the United States and Canada, feeling like I was ready for a big change, but not sure where to make the move. Performing and shooting in Portland and Seattle, and reconnecting with long-time friends in the area, I knew I had to make the move there, it just felt right. So at the end of January I'll be packing up my gorgeous studio in Las Vegas, and will start making my way to my new home. At first I'll be in the Olympic Peninsula staying with family until I decide where to put down roots, but the goal is to find a lovely place in downtown Seattle. So if anyone hears of a great place coming available, let a girl know! I'll likely be selling off a bunch of antiques, clothing, costumes and fabrics before I go, so keep an eye posted to my instagram for all of that over the next few months. The above photo is a self-portrait from the Arctic Club hotel where I did shoots this summer, the place where I made my decision to relocate. Check out the gorgeous bar they have in the lobby!
