Bettina May has been helping women unleash their inner bombshell since 2006, and also offers public classes and private consultations in Las Vegas on everything from burlesque touring to vintage styling. You can bring her to your town to teach these classes, contact her now to discuss rates and travel fees.

Refund Policy: You must preregister by paying a deposit to secure your space in class via credit card. DROP-INS are NOT ALLOWED. Some classes have age restrictions if they are held in bars, and anyone under 18 must have a parent sign a permission slip first. Please note that your deposit for classes, private shoots and parties is nonrefundable, but can be applied to future classes one year from the date of purchase if you give 7 days notice. If you cannot use Paypal to make a deposit, email bookings@bettina.ca to discuss other options.
Private Consultation
Want personalized, one-on-one advice and coaching from Bettina May? Benefit from her many years of burlesque performing, producing, touring, modeling, vintage styling, costuming and photography experience, and take your career or hobby to the next level. Her love of vintage style from the 1920s-1960s has even found her consulting period movies and music videos for authenticity! She is available online via Skype, or in person in Las Vegas or occasionally when she tours. Email Bettina now to discuss your needs and she can work out a plan that works best for you. Rates start at $100 per hour with one hour minimum, 1.5 hours is recommended for your first session. In person sessions in her Las Vegas studio include tea service on vintage china!

Bombshell Hair
Discover how to curl any type of hair, create long-lasting Victory rolls, glamorous waves and sturdy up-dos, and how to create hairstyles to withstand hot studio and stage lights or vigorous dancing. Also learn how to incorporate accessories for quick vintage looks and how to troubleshoot mishaps. Bring your accessories, hair flowers, vintage hats, and all of your hair questions. This is primarily a demo class with question and answer. Perfect for performers looking to step up their game onstage and in photos, and vintage lifestyle enthusiasts.

Strike A Pose
Tired of not getting good live photos of your acts at shows? Want to look confident onstage and embrace the power of stillness? Learn the magic of classic pin-up posing with international pin-up expert Bettina May, and you'll be the star of promo photos, stage, and life! All genders and bodies will benefit. During the class, students will have an opportunity to speak with Bettina May about her experience as both a published pin-up model and photographer in a Q & A setting, and then get hands-on experience trying out her poses, playing with different characters, and get individual assistance and correction with posing

Pin-Up Class
The original body-positive class that got it all started. In this 5- to 6-hour class you will learn how to do simple 1940s- and 1950s-inspired makeup and hairstyles. Bettina May or one of her talented assistants will do your hair and guide you through makeup application. Once makeovers are complete, she will show you how to strike a pose with confidence, followed by individual pin-up photoshoots shot by Bettina May herself. This class is open to women or those who dress as a woman, i.e., drag queens, trans people, etc only, and always takes place in a location that is closed to the public for the duration of the class, so attendees feel safe and comfortable. Unless notified otherwise, you are responsible for bringing your own makeup and outfits for the photoshoot. Some classes do have a vintage-store sponsor lending outfits, depending on the size and location of class.

On The Road Again
With over 13 years of touring under her shimmy belt, Bettina May will share her traveling showgirl survival tips to help you figure out how to start taking your show on the road, whether you are a solo performer or a troupe, hobbyist or full-timer. She'll go over booking, financing your tour, getting contacts, finding places to stay, traveling with food allergies and more. Join world-class singer and well-dressed bandleader Dandy Wellington & his band and international burlesque performer Bettina May who will guide you through the wildly exciting world of burlesque performed to live music. You are encouraged to come dressed for a lovely night out; dance heels and gloves a must for the interactive portion.

Parties
Let Bettina May help you create the perfect unique event that will be talked about for years and make you the envy of your friends. She has created specially tailored parties for bachelorettes, birthdays, and other occasions to fit clients’ plans for the night, group size, and budget. A 50% deposit will be required to reserve your space and secure a location rental if applicable, and travel fees may apply outside Las Vegas, NV. Luxury Package - $299 per person:
Vintage hairstyles and full makeup for all guests, plus champagne and light snacks. Individual photoshoots for each guest, with 2 retouched hi-res image, 4 photos for the guest of honour. Also includes one retouched image of the group. Additional photos available for purchase, all proofs will be uploaded to private password-protected gallery. Maximum 10 guests
Deluxe Package - $249 per person:
Vintage hairstyles for everyone, full makeup for the guest of honour and makeup instruction and assistance for the rest of the guests. Individual photoshoots for each guest, with 1 retouched hi-res image, 4 photos for the guest of honour. Also includes one retouched image of the group. Additional photos available for purchase, all proofs will be uploaded to private password-protected gallery. Maximum 10 guests
Classic Package - $199 per person:
Vintage hairstyles for everyone, full makeup for the guest of honour and makeup instruction and assistance for the rest of the guests. Individual photoshoots for each guest, with 1 retouched hi-res photo sent out, 2 photos for the guest of honour. Also includes one retouched image of the group. Maximum 10 guests, minimum 4

Pin-up Selfie Package - $69 per person:
Basic vintage hairstyles for everyone, with fun music and simple instructions for how to recreate some of the looks Bettina creates on guests. Bettina will take photos of guests with their cell-phone cameras and show them how to take a perfect selfie, and the elusive groupie. A perfect start to a fun night on the town! Maximum 25 guests, minimum 5
